No two days are ever the same for Chloe Bailey in her role as People Senior Admin Officer.
The 23-year-old from Shildon in County Durham is one of the first people new starters will speak to when joining our service.
As a result, she is a familiar face for many of our operational Firefighters and staff based at our Durham headquarters.
And it’s speaking to the hard-working people who make up the Service that Chloe loves the most.
“I enjoy the variety within my role - no day is ever the same,” she said.
“The role allows me to meet with various people from around the service, which I always enjoy.”
Chloe joined CDDFRS in 2022 as a People Admin Assistant after a stint working for a pharmaceutical company.
Each day, she supports and assists the HR team with various administration tasks and any queries that come in either via email or phone.
However, growing up she had a very different career in mind.
“As a child, I always wanted to be a vet,” Chloe said.
“Although I still love animals, I’d be the worst vet as I would want to take all the animals home!”
Outside of work, Chloe loves spending time in the great outdoors walking or enjoying weekends away.
She added: “I enjoy using my free time creating memories with my family and friends.”
